Cornshucking Frolic at Horne Creek Farm

This annual event is a traditional rural frolic featuring the harvesting, shucking, shelling, and grinding of corn.

Added to that are other festivities, such as cider making, quilting, cooking, woodworking, wagon rides, making apple butter and molasses, plus numerous craft demonstrations. Bring a lawn chair and sit back and listen to traditional, bluegrass, and gospel music by area musicians. Cap off the day with chicken stew, pintos, fried pies, and apple cider. Products & gifts are available at the Horne Creek Farm country store.

No outside food or pets (other than service animals) allowed.

Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for children 6-12, and free for children 5 and younger. Fees charged for food, drinks, and some craft activities.
