Big Elkin Brrrfest
The Big Elkin Brrrfest beer festival moves to the coolest event venue in downtown Elkin for its fourth edition on Saturday, Feb. 8. The festival takes place in The Liberty, a converted turn-of-the-last-century tobacco warehouse that features timber ceiling beams, exposed brick walls and giant windows for natural lighting.
The festival showcases a great selection of regional craft breweries, including Angry Troll Brewing in Elkin, New Sarum Brewing Co. in Salisbury, Red Buffalo Brewing Co. in Statesville, Skull Camp Brewing in Elkin, Twenty-Six Acres Brewing Co. in Concord and Two Boros Brewery in Wilkesboro.
Also on tap are live music from Whiskey Foxtrot, food vendors and a chili cook-off for charity.
Tickets are $10 and include pint glass. Attendees must pay for pints individually. Those who purchase tickets in advance are registered to win an Elkin weekend getaway package.
