The Dobson Tourism Development Authority invites you to attend the 4th Annual Rock the Block at Dobson Square Park, 110 S. Crutchfield Street, Dobson, NC 27017 on September 12th, 2026, from 6:00PM until 9:00PM. Food Trucks and Beer, Wine, and Spirits Garden will be on site and ready to serve beginning at 5:00PM. Bring your chairs, bring the family, and enjoy this year's band, Cassette Rewind!

The Dobson Cruise- IN, "Cruiz-N-The Square" will take place in Downtown Dobson beginning in May and running through October. Each event will be from 3:00PM until 9:00PM and feature live music at Dobson Square Park from 6:00PM until 9:00PM with food trucks and vendors on site.

The Yadkin Valley Pumpkin Festival is held in Historic Downtown Elkin on the 4th Saturday in September from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. The Main Street of Elkin will be filled with live music, and vendors of every description featuring everything from antiques, jump houses, and funnel cakes to functional pottery, pumpkin painting, wood furnishings, wine racks, BBQ, baked goods, sand art, pumpkin butter, polish sausages, handcrafted gifts and so much more.

Head to downtown Pilot Mountain with the family to enjoy vintage cars, meet their owners, swap stories and listen to live beach music.

Sample different flavors of Surry County's favorite dessert at the annual Sonker Festival presented by the Surry County Historical Society.
