Historic Downtown Mount Airy Ghost Tours are held every Friday and Saturday night at 8pm beginning May through November 13. Join us for an exciting 90-minute, lantern-lit walking tour through Mount Airy's streets and its historic past. You will hear about 13 of our "less mortal" friends and some of Mount Airy's resting places. Tours begin at the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History, 301 N. Main Street. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your camera and umbrella, if needed. Tickets are $20 (tax included) and pre-paid reservations are required! Call the Museum at 336-786-4478.

Make your way to Downtown Mount Airy for the Fourth of July Parade & Celebration on July 4th at 11am! The event will begin with a reading from the Declaration of Independence at the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History.

Head over to Veterans Memorial Park for food trucks, music, and family activities! The gates open at 5:00 PM with the main fireworks display lighting up the sky around dark (typically 9:00 PM to 9:30 PM).
