The Dobson Cruise- IN, "Cruiz-N-The Square" will take place in Downtown Dobson beginning in May and running through October. Each event will be from 3:00PM until 9:00PM and feature live music at Dobson Square Park from 6:00PM until 9:00PM with food trucks and vendors on site.

The Elkin Cruise-In happens on the 4th Sunday of each month (March–November, excluding July) from 2PM–5PM at the Yadkin Valley Heritage & Trails Center.

Celebrate Independence Day in style at FreedomFest! Join us at Elkin Municipal Park for a fantastic Fourth of July event filled with family-friendly fun. Enjoy a day packed with exciting activities, including live music, delicious food vendors, games, and more.

Cruise into Pilot Mountain’s Main Street for classic cars, food trucks, local drinks, and live beach music from Gary Lowder & Smokin' Hot—an upbeat mix of soul, R&B, funk, and more.

Head over to Veterans Memorial Park for food trucks, music, and family activities! The gates open at 5:00 PM with the main fireworks display lighting up the sky around dark (typically 9:00 PM to 9:30 PM).

Come out and enjoy the 2026 Music at the Market Concert Series at the Surry County Farmers Market, 903 E. Atkins Street, Dobson, NC 27017. Each event will begin with Food Trucks on site at 6PM followed by Music from 7PM until 9PM. Bring your lawn chairs, admission is FREE! In the event of bad weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Surry County Service Center, directly across the parking lot from the Surry County Farmers Market.
