Mayberry Days is a multi-day celebration with activities and events for fans of The Andy Griffith Show who long for the days when life was simple and the sheriff didn't carry a gun.

The Elkin Cruise-In happens on the 4th Sunday of each month (March–November, excluding July) from 2PM–5PM at the Yadkin Valley Heritage & Trails Center.

Shop fresh and local at the Elkin Farmers Market, part of the Surry County Farmers Market. Open Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.–Noon and Tuesdays (starting May 26) from 5:00–7:30 p.m., running through September 2026.

Discover emerging and established songwriters at Reeves Songwriter Night on Wednesday, September 30 at 7 PM. Enjoy original music, audience voting, and free admission at Reeves Theater.

Historic Downtown Mount Airy Ghost Tours are held every Friday and Saturday night at 8pm beginning May through November 13. Join us for an exciting 90-minute, lantern-lit walking tour through Mount Airy's streets and its historic past. You will hear about 13 of our "less mortal" friends and some of Mount Airy's resting places. Tours begin at the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History, 301 N. Main Street. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your camera and umbrella, if needed. Tickets are $20 (tax included) and pre-paid reservations are required! Call the Museum at 336-786-4478.

Are you looking for more Ghosts?  Don't miss the Pilot Mountain Ghost Tours held the first Friday of every month May through October. This 60-minute tour will lead guests through Downtown Pilot Mountain where you will hear stories of murder, aliens, and maybe even bigfoot! The tour begins at The Grove Teas and Botanical Gifts located at 127 W. Main Street in Pilot Mountain at 8pm. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your camera and umbrella, if needed. Tours are rain or shine. Tickets are $20 (Tax Included) and advance purchase is recommended!

Come visit Historic Mayberry and run our 21st Annual 5K and 1/2 Mile Fun Run #5KOTG hosted by Reeves Community Foundation! The race course starts at Riverside Park and runs the newest section of the Granite City Greenway, along Lovill's Creek to the SouthData parking lot and back. This race is a very popular event year after year.  Come see why!!  Runners, walkers, and strollers are welcome.
