Explore Elkin partners with Hugh Chatham Aquatic & Wellness Center to present the third annual Food Truck 5K. The route starts at the wellness center and finishes at the Heritage Center in downtown Elkin (257 Standard St., Elkin, NC 28621).
Beginning at 11 a.m. at the Heritage Center, there will be a food truck rally with local wine and beer and live music from Big Daddy Mojo. You do not have to participate in the 5K to enjoy the many tasty food trucks and entertainment. The food truck event is free to attend and fun for the whole family.
Race registration is $25 in advance or $30 the day of the race. Registration available online at www.itsyourrace.com.
