Rosy Cheeks 5K
Event
Grab your running shoes and experience the festive town of Mount Airy this Christmas season at the 15th annual Rosy Cheeks 5K.
Sponsored by Mount Airy Parks and Recreation, the race takes place on Dec. 9 at 10am. The course follows the scenic Ararat River Greenway, with the starting line positioned just past the Riverside Park trailhead. A free Fun Run for kids occurs immediately after the 5K.
All participants are asked to bring an unwrapped toy, gift, or gift card for an elementary school-age, middle school-age, or high school-age child. These will be donated to the Mount Airy Police Department Toy Drive.
(Note: Toys will be collected at the race or may be dropped off Nov. 28-Dec. 9 at Reeves Community Center, 113 S. Renfro Street, Mount Airy)
