Hitch up your wagons and head to downtown Dobson for a different kind of rodeo. The Surry County Food Truck Rodeo comes to the Farmers Market space on Atkins Street, with nine food trucks and live music.
Participating trucks include: BJ's Fry Shack, Kinder's Kitchen, Mermaids on the Go, MR People Feeder, Shikora Express on Wheels, Tacos Costa Grande, The Chill Mobile, The Smoke Shack and The Spotted Cow.
The Legacy Motown Revue kicks off the music at 12:30 p.m. Then at 5 p.m., Runaway Train (pictured) takes the stage.
Admission is free. Lawn chairs are encouraged.
