Valentine's Weekend Private Wine Blending
Event
Treat your sweetie to a unique experience this Valentine's weekend by grabbing another couple and creating your own blend of wine.
This private event is a three-hour session for your group only (minimum four people). During this event, create your very own dry red blend from wines aging at Round Peak's winery. Receive one-on-one training from winemaker Ken Gulaian, who provides in-depth training on flavor profiles. Gulaian will pull six to eight wines from the aging barrels to sample and use to create your blend.
Your Valentine's weekend session includes tasting individual wines and recommendations and guidance on the blending process, followed by the actual blending of wines. When finished, your group votes on the best blend and submits that recipe to the winemaker.
In the spring, when Round Peak blends its regular wines, it will add yours to the list, bottle it, and ship it to you to enjoy throughout the year. You will receive one case of wine for each couple. If your group has the minimum of four people, you receive two cases. If you have six people, you will receive three cases, and so on.
Due to COVID restrictions, this is a privately scheduled event by reservation only on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Cost is $165 per person ($330 per couple) and includes tastings, heavy appetizers, instruction and one case of wine per couple.
