Zoe & Cloyd with Laurelyn Dossett in Concert

Husband-and-wife duo Zoe & Cloyd hail from opposite ends of the Appalachian mountains. Natalya Zoe Weinstein is a renowned fiddler and vocalist, and John Cloyd Miller is an award-winning songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. Their show is as diverse as their upbringing. Coming from a lineage of klezmer and jazz musicians, Weinstein trained classically in her home state of Massachusetts before moving south in 2004. Miller, a 12-generation North Carolinian and grandson of pioneering bluegrass fiddler Jim Shumate, is a first-place winner of the prestigious Chris Austin Songwriting Contest as well as an Artist Fellowship recipient for songwriting from the North Carolina Arts Council. Both are instructors in the Traditional Music Program at Warren Wilson College. Zoe & Cloyd delight audiences of all ages with soaring harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, seamlessly combining original bluegrass, klezmer, old-time and folk with sincerity and zeal.

The duo is joined by singer/songwriter Laurelyn Dossett, who lives and writes in the piedmont of North Carolina. Her songs tend to reflect the stories of the region, both traditional and contemporary. And she has become one of the most sought-after voices in creative collaborations. She has toured with folk legend Alice Gerrard and songwriter Diana Jones, and the North Carolina Symphony in 2009, 2011 and 2013.
