Mount Airy Museum of Regional History

The Mount Airy Museum of Regional History preserves the natural, historic and artistic heritage of the region. Displays and exhibitions are about arts and culture, the natural history of the area, Old Time music, the Saura Indians, Eng and Chang Bunker, the way of life and culture of settlers who came to the area, the granite quarrying industry, life at the turn of the century and more.

The museum hosts regular events and programming, as well as guided ghost tours in downtown Mount Airy.
