Crisanthemum Studios is a locally owned ceramics studio and retail shop located in downtown Pilot Mountain, NC. Our welcoming space is designed to bring people together through creativity, handmade pottery, and meaningful experiences. Inside the studio, visitors can explore our retail section filled with handcrafted ceramics made in-house or take part in our popular Glaze-Your-Own (GYO) pottery experience. Guests of all ages are invited to choose a piece, glaze it themselves, and return later to pick up a one-of-a-kind, kiln-fired creation. We also offer a rotating schedule of art classes and workshops, making our studio a fun and creative stop for individuals, families, and groups.

Hanging Rock State Park is located 25 miles east of the town of Pilot Mountain and is connected to Pilot Mountain State Park by the Sauratown Trail. It is home to five waterfalls.

The trail may be used by all horseback riders and hikers for most of the year, except for deer hunting season (mid-Nov. to mid-Dec.).

Float trip excursions take place on larger rivers in the mountains of NC and Tennessee.
