Surry Community College 630 S Main St, Dobson, NC 27017Surry Community College will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States on Wednesday, June 24, at the Dobson campus. The event begins with a Liberty Tree Dedication at 11 a.m., followed by an Ice Cream Social at noon and a Genealogy Workshop at 1 p.m. on the second floor of the SCC Library. Community members are invited to join this special day of history, heritage, and celebration. -
