The Dobson Tourism Development Authority invites you to attend the 3rd Annual Rock the Block at Dobson Square Park. Food Trucks will be on sit4e beginning at 5pm. Bring your chairs, bring the family, and enjoy this year’s band, too MUCH SyLviA! Having developed a loyal following of friends & fans sporting their RED SUNGLASSES, come and sing along to the band’s #1 songs including 5 “CBMA Songs of the Year” and 4 “Smoothies of the Year”. In addition, 2MS features a few “unplugged” tunes, some Beach, Motown, Funky 70s, Retro 80s, a few of the current top hits, and country music! Admission is FREE!

The Yadkin Valley Pumpkin Festival is held in Historic Downtown Elkin on the 4th Saturday in September from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. The Main Street of Elkin will be filled with live music, and vendors of every description featuring everything from antiques, jump houses, and funnel cakes to functional pottery, pumpkin painting, wood furnishings, wine racks, BBQ, baked goods, sand art, pumpkin butter, polish sausages, handcrafted gifts and so much more.
