Chatham County Line: Electric Holiday Tour

The annual Chatham County Line Electric Holiday Tour has always been an excuse for the formerly acoustic stalwarts to let down their hair and play a little rock ’n’ roll along with the acoustic music that made them famous across the globe. For more than a decade now the boys from CCL have taken their setlist and enlivened it with some choice AM radio gold in honor of the passing of another year. Now that they normally perform with drums, and electric and pedal-steel guitars, the Holiday Tour takes on new significance as an expanded Modern CCL lineup. With a little help from Jay Brown (bass) and recording artist in his own right Johnny Irion (guitar, piano, vocals), the band takes the stage to throw one heck of a party with songs from the CCL canon and some great covers.
