This new summer event in Pilot Mountain brings a fun atmosphere to Main Street one Friday evening a month in July, August and September. The town is throwing a dance party on Depot Street, and the series' theme is "dancing through the decades." The festivities include both a DJ and live band.
The season wraps up with the 1990s. From Britney Spears and Missy Elliott to Sir Mix-A-Lot, Nirvana and Backstreet Boys.
Additional 2022 dates are June 15 (1970s) and Aug. 19 (1980s).
