Ice Skating in the Square

A holiday skating experience takes place Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in Dobson Square Park.

The Town of Dobson sets up a synthetic ice skating rink that is quite similar to skating on ice, without any concerns about the ice melting. And, it is covered, so folks can skate in inclement weather. Hours are 5-8 p.m. on Fridays, and 2-6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

The cost is just $5 for a 45-minute session, and sessions begin at the top of the hour. The rink capacity is 20 people and folks are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their desired skate time.
