Outdoor Concert: Scythian
Event
Join Jones von Drehle for live music at its performance venue: the Stage @ Jones von Drehle.
Washington DC-based Scythian (sith-ee-yin) began more than 12 years ago as a bunch of college buddies playing Celtic music in the streets and has grown to be a headliner on the US Celtic festival circuit as well as a name in the bluegrass/Americana world. The group has played more than 1,300 shows throughout the US, Europe, Canada and as far away as Australia.
Founded by brothers Alexander and Danylo Fedoryka, who are first-generation sons of Ukrainian immigrants, Scythian draws inspiration from a common love for "old time, good time music" of many cultures.
Gates open at 6 p.m. All tickets must be purchased in advance; no day-of concert tickets will be sold.
Tickets are $37.50. Wine club members receive $5 off. A limited number of terrace tables, each with an umbrella and four seats, are available to purchase for $200. To purchase tickets, click here.
Folding chairs are provided. Wine, beer and lemonade will be for sale.
