Running the Vines 5K/10K
Event
Come out to Shelton Vineyards for the annual Running the Vines 5K and 10K races and kids' fun run.
All races promise beautiful views of the vineyard and neighboring country farms, and finish on the grounds of Shelton Vineyards in front of the winery. The races take place rain or shine.
For participating in this exciting 5K/10K event, runners receive a race T-shirt, finisher's medal, packet filled with sponsor goodies and entertainment at the band shell beginning at 1 p.m. Music on the Terrace features Scarlet Lemonade, along with tasty food, Shelton Vineyards wine and NC craft beer.
Race participants (21+) also receive free admission for two (2) to Shelton Vineyards' Summer Concert Series that evening, featuring Blackwater Band. Concert hours are 6:30-9:30 p.m.
