Saturday Evening Concert: High Fidelity + New Ballards Branch Bogtrotters

Just across the Virginia line along the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blue Ridge Music Center welcomes visitors for its outdoor summer concert series. Enjoy the cool air and mountain backdrop as music fills the night.

Many folks remember the great bluegrass records from the 1950s and ‘60s. The power and soul of that music won the hearts of people across the globe. High Fidelity is a rising group whose love and devotion to that musical style is unsurpassed. The band consists of five stellar musicians and singers who are steeped in the sounds of tradition and outstanding in their field.

New Ballards Branch Bogtrotters, an old-time band that's a favorite of locals in the Galax area, opens the evening.

Tickets are $15 for adults; children 12 and younger admitted free. No advance tickets sold. Lawn chairs welcome. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, concertgoers are encouraged to maintain six feet of distance between groups and wear a mask in high-traffic areas. Hand-sanitizing stations are located near the admission gate.
