Edwards Franklin House

This historic home, located near Lowgap along the Fisher River, is maintained by the Surry County Historical Society. It is open to the public the second Saturday in April through September. It is also home of the annual Sonker Festival, held the first Saturday in October to honor Surry County's celebrated local dessert.
