The Elkin Cruise-In happens on the 4th Sunday of each month (March–November, excluding July) from 2PM–5PM at the Yadkin Valley Heritage & Trails Center.

Reeves Open Mic Band Night returns at 7 PM! Bands and individual artists can take the Reeves stage with 2–3 songs or 10 minutes of material. Bands receive priority.

Come out to catch the Luke Mears & Friends Country / Blues Jam at Reeves Theater on Thursday at 6 PM. Enjoy free live music featuring talented local musicians in the Reeves Cafe.

Grab your running shoes and experience the festive town of Mount Airy this Christmas season at the 19th annual Rosy Cheeks 5K. Sponsored by Mount Airy Parks and Recreation, the race takes place on Dec. 12 at 9 am. The course follows the scenic Ararat River Greenway, with the starting line positioned just past the Riverside Park trailhead. A free Fun Run for kids occurs immediately after the 5K. All participants are asked to bring an unwrapped toy, gift, or gift card for an elementary school-age, middle school-age, or high school-age child. These will be donated to the Mount Airy Police Department Toy Drive.

Sing your heart out at Karaoke Night at Reeves Theater! Starting at 7 PM, take the Main Stage and belt out your favorite hits. Sign-ups begin in the lobby around 5 PM.
