The Elkin Big Band at Blackmon Amphitheatre

The Elkin Big Band is an authentic 17-piece big band — 13 horns and a full rhythm section. The band recreates the kind of music once heard on stage at The Apollo, The Lumina, The Cotton Club and Carnegie Hall. The broad repertoire includes many of the greatest charts in the history of jazz from the 1920s through the present day.

The concert is part of the outdoor summer concert series at Blackmon Amphitheatre. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and set up under the stars on the terraces facing the stage.

Tickets are $17 per person (including tax). Children 12 and younger are admitted free with a paying adult.

Beer, wine and food vendors will be on-hand (no outside alcohol or coolers allowed).
