Head to Elkin for a tried-and-true Independence Day celebration. Festivities include live music by Big Daddy Mojo, kids' activities, craft vendors, food trucks and — of course — fireworks.

Music starts at 5 p.m., so come early and snag your spot to watch the fireworks, which are scheduled for approximately 9 p.m.
