Mount Airy Ukulele Festival

Aloha! Mount Airy has a fun weekend planned for ukulele lovers. Take part in classes, workshops, music jams and concerts. Events take place at various downtown Mount Airy venues, including the Andy Griffith Playhouse, Andy Griffith Museum Theatre and Historic Earle Theatre.
Participants of all skill levels have an opportunity to perform in a live radio broadcast on Saturday morning at Earle Theatre. Take part in one of the longest-running live radio broadcasts in the country, WPAQ's "Merry-Go-Round," second only to "The Grand Ole Opry."
Instructors for the weekend include George Smith, Marcy Marxer, Cathy Fink and Kent Knorr.
Registration is required and includes admission to instructor-led workshops, jams and concerts, and a festival T-shirt. Online registration is available by clicking here.
