Outdoor Concert: Selwyn Birchwood

Join Jones von Drehle for live music at its performance venue: the Stage @ Jones von Drehle.

The rising guitar and lap-steel player calls his original music “electric swamp funk blues,” defined by raw and soulful musicianship played with fire-and-brimstone fervor. His gritty, unvarnished vocals draw his audience inside his tales of love, passion, pain and pleasure. In addition to Selwyn’s electrifying guitar and lap-steel playing, the other featured instrument is Regi Oliver’s driving baritone sax. Bass, drums and keyboard round out the group.

Gates open at 6 p.m. All tickets must be purchased in advance; no day-of concert tickets will be sold.
