Saturday Evening Concert: Chatham Rabbits
Event
Just across the Virginia line along the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blue Ridge Music Center welcomes visitors for its outdoor summer concert series. Enjoy the cool air and mountain backdrop as music fills the night.
The husband-and-wife team of Austin and Sarah McCombie make up the folk duo Chatham Rabbits. Their musical journey began when Austin spotted Sarah onstage in 2013, opening for Mandolin Orange. With Sarah on banjo and Austin on guitar, they are known for their tight harmonies on originals and old-time mountain songs.
Tickets are $20 for adults; children 12 and younger admitted free. No advance tickets sold. Lawn chairs welcome. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, concertgoers are encouraged to maintain six feet of distance between groups and wear a mask in high-traffic areas. Hand-sanitizing stations are located near the admission gate.
