Wayne Erbsen in Concert

As a musician, Wayne Erbsen is a master of old-time, bluegrass, folk, Appalachian, cowboy, pioneer, railroad and gospel music. He is also well-versed in the music of the Civil War. He plays clawhammer and bluegrass banjo, fiddle, mandolin and guitar. Wayne has performed across America and in western Europe. He has recorded many solo CDs and written dozens of music instruction books and songbooks. He has won numerous prizes at fiddler’s conventions, including 1st place in clawhammer banjo and 1st place in senior old-time fiddler.
The concert takes place at the Andy Griffith Museum Theatre. Earlier in the day, Erbsen offers a banjo workshop in the same location from 2-4 p.m.
