Dia de los Muertos Celebration

Celebrate Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) at the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History. Festivities include music, dancers, a raffle, food trucks, crafts and much more. Learn about the origins of the Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion. The holiday represents a blending of influences including Mesoamerican ritual, European religion and Spanish culture.

This event is free and open to the public. Face coverings are required inside the museum and highly recommended outside.
