The annual Elkin Roots Music Fest, held at the renovated art deco Reeves Theater, showcases several musical genres that are native to the Appalachian foothills region. Dates are June 24-25.
Attendees enjoy roots, blues, Americana, jazz and country performances. This is a family-friendly festival held across two evenings. The festivities include food trucks and beverages from local wineries and craft breweries.
Performers include Darin & Brooke Aldridge, DaShawn & Wendy Hickman, Caleb Caudle, Wanda Johnson, Big Ron Hunter and The Reeves House Band.
Single-night tickets range from $25-$35. Two-night passes are $40-$60. Tickets can be purchased here.
