Harvest Festival at Miss Angels Farm
Event
Come on down to Miss Angels Farm for the third annual Harvest Festival. Activities include hayrides, barrel train rides, a 28-foot alligator slide, a bounce house, pony rides, face painting, a kids' barn playhouse with sand pit, an apple sling shot, pumpkin decorating, storytelling and a four-acre corn maze filled with arrowhead replicas. Local musicians will play favorite tunes. Six varieties of pumpkins will be available for purchase, and you can pick your favorite from the patch. Ready-picked pumpkins, apples and decorated corn stalks will also be available.
Food offerings include hot dogs, barbecue, grilled corn and wood-fired pizza. Fresh baked goods and homemade ice cream will be plentiful, along with decadent apples coated with caramel, chocolate and hard candy. Those 21 and older can enjoy local craft beer, wine and sangria.
Admission is $5 per person; children 2 and younger admitted free. A portion of the proceeds goes toward Surry County Schools backpack program.
