SCC Celebrates America’s 250th Birthday

Surry Community College will be hosting a celebration in honor of the United States of America’s 250th anniversary on Wednesday, June 24, on the Dobson campus.
The celebration will begin at 11 a.m. with a Liberty Tree Dedication in front of the A-Building, followed by an Ice Cream Social at noon by the Betty Kay Vaughn Clock Tower, and finishing with a Genealogy Workshop at 1 p.m. on the second floor of the SCC Library.
