Step back into a time where battery-operated toys didn't exist, but flying folk toys were all the rage.

Mount Airy Museum of Regional History's new visiting exhibit — "Toy Time - Those Fabulous Folk Toys" — highlights timeless toys. Engage with delightful tumbling, sliding, rocking, spinning, dancing and flying folk toys that demonstrate the effects of gravity, inertia, rhythm, harmonic motion and mechanics.

The exhibit is open to the public from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, and will run through May 15th. The museum is located in downtown Mount Airy.

Visit the museum's website for more information.
