Yadkin Valley Wine Festival

Come taste the wines of the Yadkin Valley at this annual event. The Yadkin Valley Wine Festival is the valley's biggest, showcasing the best wineries in North Carolina wine country.

This popular festival combines tastings from area wineries with live music in a family-friendly park setting. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or chairs for a relaxing day of sampling the latest vintages from many of North Carolina’s premier vineyards.

The day is full of tastings, food trucks, live music, contests, children's activities and vendor displays, not to mention the annual stomping of the grapes tradition. For safety reasons, please leave pets at home.

Tickets are $32 in advance and $40 at the gate. Active duty and retired military receive $10 off at the gate with valid ID. Shuttle service to area hotels is available for $5.

A companion event for cycling enthusiasts takes place that morning. Tour de Vino offers five different rides to choose from, with all rides starting at 8 a.m.
