Surry Cellars

Surry Cellars winery at Surry Community College

Surry Cellars is an actual working winery on the campus of Surry Community College. Under the guidance of the faculty, students grow and harvest grapes, make and bottle wines, design labels and learn how to market the finished product.

Surry Cellars is located in the Shelton-Badgett NC Center for Viticulture and Enology, a $5-million on-campus facility that is home to one of the East Coast's premier winemaking and viticutural programs.

Tours of Surry Cellars are by appointment only, Tuesday through Friday, when Surry Community College is open. To arrange a tour, call at least a week in advance to 336-386-3468 or 336-386-3384.
