The Farm

On this working farm in Dobson, the Watson family invites visitors to spend time as a family, have some fun outdoors, and learn more about where their food comes from. The seasonal operation offers different produce, activities and displays at select times throughout the year.

In the spring, usually from late April to late May, visitors enjoy U-pick strawberries. A produce stand sells fresh fruit and vegetables in July and August. Then in the fall, from mid-September through October, The Farm has a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayrides, sunflowers and apple cannons. People have come to expect pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colors, as The Farm grows more than 40 different varieties. Additional activities in spring and fall include photo areas, a playground, farm animals, a pipe slide, a jump pillow, a gem mine and a barrel train. The concession stand sells hot dogs, burgers, and other snacks and sweet treats. Picnics are also welcome.

During the holidays, Christmas at The Farm turns the property into a wonderland of lights. Hayrides ferry passengers to large light displays, and a walk-through light maze delights all ages. Select nights include visits with Santa.

In addition to individual visits, The Farm welcomes field trips and birthday parties. Leashed pets are welcome.
